Introducing: Open Studio
Do you have glass fusing or stained glass experience? Looking for a place to hone your new skills? Tired of working at home alone and looking for a community of people to create with? Open studio hours might be a good fit for you.
Each fusing open studio session includes a 3 hour time sot, 1/2 kiln or mini kiln rental, up to one hour of expert advice, all necessary tools and scrap glass. Large sheet glass not included. A $105 value for $45.
Each stained glass open studio session includes a 3 hour time slot, all equipment necessary including glass cutters, grinders, saws, and soldering irons, expendables including solder, coper foil and flux as well as one hour of expert advice and medium scrap glass. Large sheet glass not included. A $105 value for $45.
Everyone who registers for open studio must complete a tools workshop and test before permitted to use open studio hours. This is to ensure everyone knows proper safety and etiquette for Spring Street Studios. Prior glass experience is required for open studio. The tools workshop is only to act as a refresher and set expectations.
